A movie that you might like.

My Netflix Queue is totally out of hand and occasionally I receive a film but have no clue how it got on there. This movie is one of those. Who knows why or when it was put on my queue, but it was a great little treat to come home to after an evening of splitting the atom and talking shit about life over some Happy Hour beers at Daddy's. Its along the lines of You and Me and Everyone I Know and some other sort of artsy, quirky indy movies.

All the Real Girls trailer and New York Times review.

I also just got back from a week in North Carolina surfing and relaxing. More pictures and redneck stories to come.

Fall

Fall in New York has come, although its hot today, the last week has been pleasant. Sweating through one shirt per day, no AC in the apartment, model's scurrying about for Fashion Week (although they're too skinny to be hot in person), drinking in the gardens (Above: Desiree, Mush and Irene at Redd's, which has pool, darts and Skee Ball inside, although I realize there's a distinct lack of drinking games compared to Colorado), wearing jeans, soccer under the lights, hot coffee, etc. I also proclaimed this take myself on a date week, so went out for meal, took long walks in the park, read a book under an old tree, went to a movie, strolled through GP at sunset. It was pretty damn sweet.

I'm off on a road trip and surf trip for a week. Peace.

Oh, and two things I like from watching Fashion Week, since I can only see this shit online:

Preen:

Yohji Yamamoto:
(Why can't there be more dope men's clothes in different hapes, colors, fabrics, etc. without logos and shiny BS?)
