Breckenridge.

I'm just finishing a trip back to my former stomping ground of Breckenridge, Colorado. Weather didn't cooperate for action photography, so I just went off on a little tangent of moments of thought and creation. I'll post some dance party pics later for you dirty fuckers out there too.

Big changes.

The thing about my apartment is that it's kind of on the outskirts. If I walk out the door and turn right, I can go to the Graham Ave L, Bedford L, Gimme Coffee, Cafe Grumpy, Amanda and Mike's Apartment, McCarren Park, Williamsburg, Long Island City and pretty much anyplace else. If I leave and turn left there's the Boulevard Tavern, a Staples, a McDonald's and an on ramp for the BQE going north.

But today I said, "Fuck it." I turned left and realized that two blocks away, there's a passable diner for breakfast (two eggs over medium, potatoes, coffee, and OJ for $4) and a really solid pizza joint. So there it is, twice today I turned left and that has made all the difference.

(Oh yeah: my bags showed up, I emptied then repacked them, I got a new computer and I'm upgrading my other computer to 10.5. So there's no pictures in this blog...)

Take care all.

Snow that didn't last 24 hours.

Dope snow storm last night and a good show too. Foals kicked ass, then overnight the rain kicked the snow's ass and dismissed it into memories and pictures. I'm off to Michigan, where its so cold the snow may never leave, to shoot some photos. Keep it real, world.

Riders.

Last night people were snowboarding in Union Square. I bolted right out of there though, so I can only imagine how radical shit got. Instead, we hid at a place called Coffee Shop, where we drank beer and I caught up with the K2 boys were introduced to a heroin addict who asked, "Any of you want to fuck?" after she clumsily tried to steal one of their phones. I hear that one of them threw up on his brand new New York Nike Dunks later in the night. But I sent it off to the Shut Skateboards party for a while. Then we ended up riding bulls, just 'cause we could, which left me with a cut-up bloody finger. Good to see nights out in NY didn't change while I was out west.

Long Time Coming.

Computer broke. Phone part of my Blackberry stopped working. X Games and Las Vegas happened. I'll be back to the old trick soon enough.

Here is a link to a story I feel strongly about. Read it. Make it happen.Washington Post

No time for more, but I'm putting some photos on this, 'cause I am no writer.
